A cup of hot apple cider is the perfect way to get into the fall spirit.
On Saturday, Spirit of the Lake Community Arts (SOLCA) held its yearly Apple Cider Fest.
There were lots of apple-themed games at the event, like making your own apple cider by hand. From mashing and juicing the apples to getting the cider hot. There were also things to do inside, like arts and games.
The fall colors got brighter just in time for the fair after a few rain showers.
Susanna Gaunt, a member of the SOLCA Board, said, “This is a pretty typical Duluth day for this time of year.” This is making the leaves’ colors stand out, which should make people happy about fall. But there’s a lot of room inside, so people can come in and do all the different things we have going on.
The Spirit of the Lake Community Arts is a place to learn about art. It holds classes often and lets people rent out rooms for events.
